About Andrea

Andrea Andrews is a dedicated community leader passionate about making positive changes in Dane County. With six years of service as a Village of Marshall Trustee, she brings a wealth of experience in local governance and a proven track record of successful initiatives.

In addition to her public service, she is the Director of Global Logistics and Trade Compliance at Madison Air. In this role, she negotiates carrier contracts, stays informed on international trade regulations, and manages customs compliance procedures. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond the public sector into the private realm, where she strives for efficiency and compliance.

Deeply rooted in Dane County, Andrea has lived in Marshall for 33 years. Her three children, Colton, Kyra, and Mya, also call this community home. She is proud to be an active volunteer, currently serving as the Vice President of the Marshall Scholarship Foundation. Community engagement is at the core of her values, and she believes in giving back to the place that has given her family so much.

Andrea's experience extends to various committees, including the Fire and EMS Commission, Planning Commission, and Finance and Oversight Committee for the Village Board. As Chair of the Building Committee, she successfully spearheaded initiatives to construct a remodeled and new addition to their Village Hall and Police Station. These roles showcase her ability to collaborate across diverse sectors and contribute meaningfully to decision-making processes.

She is motivated by a deep commitment to community service and a genuine desire to contribute to the betterment of Dane County. Recognizing the pivotal role of local governance, she is dedicated to fostering positive change and addressing pressing issues. As a Hispanic woman, she is committed to being a voice for underrepresented communities, ensuring a broad range of voices are heard in local decision-making.

Andrea pursued her degree in Business Management at Concordia University, laying the foundation for her professional journey. Beyond her career and public service, she owns a personal training business, where her passion and commitment to a healthy lifestyle align with her clients.

Her love for travel has taken her to various countries, including Italy, Greece, China, the Maldives, Mexico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. These experiences have broadened her perspective and enriched her understanding of diverse cultures.

When she's not working or volunteering, Andrea loves spending time with her two dogs, hiking and camping across Wisconsin.

She looks forward to the opportunity to represent District 20, which includes the Village of Marshall, Town of Medina, Town of Sun Prairie, Town of York, Village of Windsor, and Bristol, on the Dane County Board. Let's build a stronger, more vibrant Dane County for everyone.
